Disabilities, practices and research: challenging the social sciences is a compilation by Andrea Verónica Pérez and Antonella Raponelli that brings together works referring to disability as a social and political construction within the framework of a collective network of researchers, activists and teachers. The book is organized in two sections. The first refers to epistemological constructs centered on the notion of disability and its revision from Latin America; the second, recovers practices and research, located mainly in the educational field. It has sixteen chapters, written by authors who invite us to challenge the social sciences in a Latin American key.
