La paradoja del crecimiento verde: ¿es posible una expansión empresarial con impacto ambiental reducido?

Este trabajo examina la viabilidad del concepto de crecimiento verde en el contexto del capitalismo moderno. Se analizan las tensiones entre la expansión económica y la sostenibilidad ecológica, destacando las limitaciones del desacoplamiento absoluto entre el crecimiento del PIB y la degradación ambiental. Además, se cuestiona la eficacia del desarrollo sostenible, tal como ha sido implementado en el ámbito empresarial, señalando su posible cooptación por intereses corporativos y su insuficiencia para abordar los desafíos ecológicos actuales. Finalmente, se plantean alternativas empresariales basadas en la suficiencia y la regeneración, en contraposición a la lógica tradicional de crecimiento ilimitado.
