In addition, 10 journalists who cover science and health on the permanent staff of national and provincial media outlets were interviewed.
This study seeks to contribute to the understanding of journalism, particularly scientific journalism, in the face of the major contextual changes that have occurred in recent decades.
Based on the observed results and as a reflection on these transformations, an analytical framework for the current agenda-setting process is also proposed.
The research is part of the Master's thesis in Social Science Research from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
2025-06-24T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 María Cecilia Farréhttps://pcient.uner.edu.ar/index.php/dps/article/view/2224Microexperiences of Academic Literacy in the Middle School to Higher Education Transition2025-04-01T15:00:02+00:00María Beatriz Taboadambtaboada@conicet.gov.ar
Micro-experiences of academic literacy designed as a strategy to bridge middle school and higher education have been identified in the context of a collaborative research project with secondary and higher education teachers in Argentina,. Implemented in the final year of compulsory education, these experiences engage students with various activities and discursive genres.

In the presence of these designs, we are interested in what literacy practices are proposed, what conceptions of academic literacy support them, and how the experiences of the teachers themselves are articulated with the promoted learning situations. Our analysis is framed within a qualitative research which relies on narratives of practices and field notes derived from interactions during interview sessions with Argentine teachers in 2023.

In addressing these micro-experiences, we recognize tensions between a critical and situated discourse, sensitive to diversity, and the presence of certain practices linked to a skills-based model, as well as the teacher’s intention to design interventions guided by a conception of social justice.
2025-05-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 María Beatriz Taboadahttps://pcient.uner.edu.ar/index.php/dps/article/view/2080Crime news.
